LM051 has now been closed and the results of this trade are shown on the Completed Trades page found via the link on the homepage. This was another commodity trade in Copper and made a slight profit. One day I'll try one of these Copper trades and the price will SOAR. Not this time though...
Buying a new share and then seeing it quickly move into profit is always very welcome and this is what LM061 did on being added to the portfolio. It's yet another 52 week high so hopefully it has further upwards momentum.
Take a look at this screenshot:
Many people express suprise when I inform them that lots of bookmakers will not take my bets. "That's not fair" they will say.
True, but bookmakers don't play fair and it will stay like this as there is nothing to force them to take a bet. No rules, no legislation. It isn't a requirement for them to have a bookmaking licence that they have to take fair bets from their customers.
At any point they can simply refuse your business.
The fact remains, and it doesn't matter what any bookie's CEO claims in the media, if you manage to make money from betting on sports then the bookmaker will QUICKLY limit your stakes or outright refuse to take your bets.
As you can see from the above screenshot, BetVictor have shown their hand as a company unwilling to take a fair bet. Notice how they are only refusing to take sports bets, I could load up my account and wager as much money as I like on roulette or slots. But if I happen to make money on horse racing? No chance.
What Victor Chandler is saying is; "we've discovered that you aren't a hopelessly addicted gambler so we don't want your business".
It isn't even that I made a fortune. It was a couple of hundred quid over a few months.
Oh well, it was all automated so it didn't take very much effort. Easy come easy go.
