The markets had a wobble last Monday and, as predicted, I got the nod to close LM030.
Ugh, so irritating to close it off following such a lovely run-up.
Of course it didn't just gradually reduce in price over a few days allowing a graceful exit.
No, it slumped right through the exit point, removing several hundred pounds' worth of profit with it. I logged in on Tuesday to see it was up a little (0.25%) so I closed immediately to snag a decent but sadly not spectacular profit.
The asset was Brent Crude and the instrument was an Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) with code PBRT.
This closed trade gives the largest profit so far in this little LISA Millionaire experiment. At one point the trade had a profit in the (very) low 4 figures but on closing the secured profit was £732.58. I am very happy with this return and especially the fact that I correctly called the rise in Crude.
I also successfully pyramided this trade, added to it twice to increase the profit.
No-one gets in at the bottom or out at the top. We will see if Crude continues to move up but if it does then I will likely re-enter the trade.
