The value of the LM fund is going up and down from week to week in a narrow range.

Perhaps this is part of the summer lull.

Little has changed in the last two weeks except that I have added another unit to LM026 and also to LM037.

I feel I am close to selling LM030, a trade which has performed very well. It would not surprise me to get the closing signal in the next week or so and providing that the asset doesn't collapse this should give a good profit.

In terms of the general market, the FTSE 100 is looking a little weaker closing just over 7000 on Friday.

The FTSE 250 has also come off a little, dropping below the 50 day SMA according to my spreadsheets. It is also close to the 100 day SMA.

This doesn't prove anything of course. It's simply an indication that the price is perhaps moving lower and so I will be watching my shares closely.

My main "favourite" indicator is always the 200 day simple moving average. Both indices are still some way off dropping below their 200 day SMAs so there's no immediate panic.

There is all kind of noise in the news about COVID rates, the "freedom" day and so on.

Very boring.

However, it is great to see all the restrictions removed in England. It goes without saying that we need to return to normal life at some point or we'll be wearing masks forever.
