LM009 was sold on Thursday as it had run its course in the porfolio. The share was United Utilities.
Despite its lovely dividend I got rid as it is obviously in a downward trend at the moment.
I feel there's no point holding something that is only declining in value so I pulled the trigger and cemented a 9% or so loss. Taking into account the various dividends I've had from this share in the last 18 months means it's probably about break-even.
If we see it testing some 52 week highs I may decide to re-invest. Plenty of time for that.
Interesting to see the FTSE 100 close on Friday at 5963. On Thursday it closed at 6000 which suggested some support at 6000 but then for it to close below 6000 on Friday isn't a sign of growth.
So the fund is a little skewed to favour cash at present.
Let's see the FTSE 100 get above a few simple moving averages - according to my spreadsheet Friday's close leaves it below the 50, 100, 200 and 377 day SMAs - and then I can use some of this cash to invest.
Until then, it's commodities only. If I invest at all...
